See what needs a closer look.

Scott discovers pages through your configured website and sitemap, audits public pages, and records findings. Start with response status, titles, descriptions and canonical signals. With the relevant Google connection, indexing inspections add another view of how a page is represented in Search.

The workspace shows what was checked and when. A saved finding helps you return to a problem without keeping every detail in your head. It does not mean that an issue has already been fixed.

  • Review findings for the affected URL.
  • Read the observation and its recorded date.
  • Check the current page before changing it.
  • Run a later check to see whether the specific issue remains.

A live page and an indexed page are different.

A successful website response confirms that the server can deliver a page. It does not confirm that Google has indexed it. An indexing inspection is a separate source with its own crawl date and reported canonical.

Search Console inspections require access to the appropriate property and are subject to provider limits. Check the timestamp: the reported Google crawl is not necessarily a live fetch of today's page.

Investigate performance with context.

When performance access is configured, PageSpeed checks can add mobile or desktop lab measurements and available Chrome user-experience data. Lab runs and real-user data answer different questions. A small website may not have enough real-user traffic for field metrics.

Use a slow measurement to identify an element or loading path to investigate. Repeat under comparable conditions after a change. A single score is neither a Google ranking nor proof of a lasting visitor experience.

Your website stays in your hands.

Scott starts with read-only monitoring. It does not publish website edits or turn an indexing inspection into a request to index a page. Your team reviews the finding and decides the next step.

To get started, create a verified account, add your public website and review its setup status. Connect Google search data separately for search and indexing context. Then combine monitoring findings with Search Console comparisons to understand both the page and its search performance.
